Nike Roshe Run - FALL 2012 Mens & Womens colorways

The ever popular Nike Roshe Run is all about simplicity, 2-tone colors and most importantly, the $70 price tag. In this days and age of hi-tech basketball sneakers made of Kevlar, and the new Nike Hyperdunk with it's built-in sensor that tracks even the time you spent in the john, these super-simple, not-made-for-sports-although-made-for-running Nike Roshe Run is EXTREMELY popular with the sneaker heads. I personally have never seen a-non-sneaker head bought a pair nor rocked a pair, but then again, I've never seen anyone with a pair on. So where do these sneakers disappeared to online? Almost every colorway that looks bright are snapped up with the quickness by sneakerheads/resellers and none are worn anywhere by me. I am willing to bet when Autumn arrives and these are out, they'll also disappear with the quickness.

Puma DISC BLAZE LTWT CB -WHT/GRY/SAX/GRN

Coming to a PUMA store/stockist near you is this "snow leopard" print Puma DISC BLAZE. The biggest eye catching feature of this particular pair is the gradient "snow leopard" print that started out grey and eventually goes to white on the toe box. The addition of green and blue compliments this perfect summer shoe with the super FAAS/speed lacing system in the Puma Disc System. Mid-July release, images via MITA.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII "What The Kobe" release info

Probably the most bizarrely colored of all the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, the "What The Kobe" colorway is an homage to previously featured predators in the Zoom Kobe VII. The leopard, the poison dart frog, the great white shark and the green mamba?  Well anyways, the color blocking of this offering is definitely outrageous, but that's what we've all come to expect from the swoosh since they have a library full of different hues, different materials to play with and of course all the latest innovative technology that results in MAKING MAD CHEDDAR. The feedback thus far has been that the shoe is too ugly to be worn, but it doesn't stop resellers, hypebeast to want them to make extra change. The shoe itself was groundbreaking when first introduced late last year, especially with that viral 'Kobe System' commercial; but it lost luster since there seems to be many fault to the replaceable insoles, may folks complaint about getting blisters and the material seems to be chipping in certain areas. I am sure they as in Nike, took notice and corrected those faults but then again, they are Nike, a giant among giants. So arrogantly stuffed up in their own ego and mission in making those billions that at this point they are just putting out LIMITED stuff to make that money. SAD!

Marketing 101 - How to attract consumer to your sneaker store

When you own a sneaker shop, it's not enough that you carry your favorite brands of footwear and apparel to attract consumers (unless you carry Yeezy's), you also need to provide excellent customer service, social media marketing, and of course you need to have a cute ASIAN girl pose in the biggest poser shoe of all time while wearing real skimpy clothes that showcase her physique. I don't know why that latter part is necessary, but it seems to be the trend with sneaker-fanboy, I guess something that is MALE dominated like sneakers needs a reminder that they are supposed to be drooling over the female anatomy instead of spending time checking out sneakers online or in-store. Anyways, I just lost my train of thoughts, although this girl is not the hottest thing since....oh what am I saying, she'll do. Come to Butthead!

Nike Zoom Kobe VII “What The Kobe” – Heel Logo images

About the ONLY way to safe this year's version of the Nike Kobe Bryant shoe is to release an abominably gaudy colorways for the HYPEBEAST. So here they are, the Nike Zoom Kobe VII "What The Kobe" heel logo. We've seen the the Nike Zoom Kobe VII "What The Kobe" before from almost every angle with exception of the heel, and here they are. A cartooney feel of what inspired this year's offering. The Shark, the Leopard, the mamba snake, the poison dart frog and the wolf. Put all of those together and you get the "What The Kobe". Don't think that you can just go to stores and pick these up, casue they probably won't be there since Nike will release these in a LIMITED fashion to ensure that they have 100% sell through. Let's face it, if these aren't LIMITED, I doubt anyone would buy them, well maybe except fo me, I am a little LOONEY. Images via Air-Knight

Reebok previews 2012-2013 offerings - MORE DOPE RETRO

Reebok was the shit when I was growing up in the 90s. They used to have the coolest system in the PUMP, then they signed Shaq and gave him his own shoes, they got Allen Iverson. Emmitt Smith used to wear Reebok when he was still with the Cowboys in Dallas. Of course, the one that got me was the Shawn Kemp joint, the Kamikaze. Not the 2nd one, but the OG first Kamikaze. Ahhh....it's nice to reminisce about old times and the kicks I used to want and never had, aside from Kamikaze. The thing with Reebok, no matter how many NBA guys they signed, they will always finish second to Nike's Air Jordan, so it was never a direct competition. Air Jordans were selling out at a rate that are non to others. I still remember seeing the Reebok Shaq Attaq at the clearance bin, retros of Iversons shoes followed with the same fate, heck almost all the Reebok stuff ended up on SALE. But with a new marketing plan set up, new dedication to bringin' their retro offering TRUE TO THE ORIGINAL and endless promotions by hip-hop artist and social media, we are primed to witness a resurrection of a brand that total dominance was in the womens' aerobic circuits.

Nike Air Max Light - new fresh joint for 2012

Often the forgotten or less diserable of the Retro Air Max line, the Air Max Light will never be ahead of other popular Air Maxes like the Air max 90, Air Max 1, Air Max Safari and the super popular Air Max 95. But don't sleep of these subtle color retros, especially with the gum bottoms, both of these new colorways due to come out later this year is not fancy nor extra colorful, but the combination works perfect, subtle yet still pops with elegance. Wonder if a NikeId option is in the works for these babies? Hhmmm.....Images via Sneaker Freaker

adidas Original X Jeremy Scott’s “Handcuff” Roundhouse Mid - CANCELLED

What year is this again? Oh right, it's 2012. We have an African-American president in the White House, Gay marriage is legal, people of colors outnumbered the anglo-americans, we have suburbia wanting to be hood, while the hood runs into suburbia. We have a $245 sneaker named after world class jackass like Kanye West and folks seems more infatuated with what Kim's ass is doing than helping others that are in need in this bastard economy. So what's all that got to do with the cancellation release of this adidas Original X Jeremy Scott’s Roundhouse Mid? Simple, the outrageousness and stupidity of this country is mind boggling. This country applaud creativity but at the same time has gone too POLITICALLY CORRECT that some folks are connecting an innovative and creative idea to history. YES, some idiots thinks that the chain on these shoes resembles chains worn by slaves. YES, slavery is not cool by today's standard, but lets be real here, it was the NORM back then. White people enslaved the black folks, they made oriental folks their servants etc. So what? That was then. Whether you like it or not, it was part of this country's HISTORY. It shaped this country into what it is today, a FREE land of opportunity where no one will ever be another's slaves. The unfortunate part, these shoes will now never see the light of day at retail because adidas did not want to keep issuing apologies. Heck, If I was the company, I would stand behind my interpretation of the idea that inspired the shoes, the 1980s doll 'My Pet Monster'. The plush toy inspired a direct-to-video movie and a short-lived animated television series featuring a purple-and-blue monster that broke free of orange chains that resembled those on the sneakers.

Here is the official statement from adidas in regards of the cancellation of this product:

"Our collaboration with Jeremy Scott has always stood for creativity and originality. Jeremy Scott is renowned as a designer whose style is quirky and lighthearted & his previous shoe designs for adidas Originals have, for example, included panda heads and Mickey Mouse. The design of the JS Roundhouse Mid is nothing more than the designer Jeremy Scott's outrageous and unique take on fashion and has nothing to do with slavery. Since the shoe debuted on our Facebook page ahead of its market release in August, adidas has received both favorable and critical feedback. We apologize if people are offended by the design and we are withdrawing our plans to make them available to the marketplace."

adidas Original X Jeremy Scott - Fall & Winter 2012 collection

Starting August 2012, the adidas Original X Jeremy Scott Fall & Winter 2012 collection with hit the wallets of those that craves the unique style offering and creativity that is Jeremy Scott. I am trying to muster more words to describe them but alas I fail and just going to ask that you check out the pics below and see which one or two of these you would actually buy or maybe all of them? Hey in this crazy economy people are willing to shell out thousands for those Yeezy, so coppin' all of these probably wouldn't break their bank.
