If you've missed out on the Nike Kobe 9 ELITE "Perspective" like I did, then you'd be a happy camper knowing that the "Legacy", a close substitute, is available now in your area's Nike Stores, Footlocker etc.
So what makes this called the "Legacy"? Well there are several theories to this, and some linked it to Jerry Buss's lucky gambling jacket, which to me makes NO sense whatsoever. The closest inspiration to this colorway would be the ORIGIN of the Lakers, which was the MPLS Lakers.
But enough about what inspired this colorway, but it should be whether this shoe will inspire you to do great things on or off the basketball court that should matter. What will you LEGACY be when you rock these?

Where were you at the historic moment when the Berlin Wall fell 25 years ago? Some can't remember, some can recall every moment, some cried, some cheered, some still hold deep resentment and some moved on with the time.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of this occasion, Adidas being an originally German brand has the rights to tell this story and made a pack our of it utilizing one of their more popular silhoutte, the ZX 8000. Inspired by the check points at Wall, Alpha, Bravo and Charlie, the "Fall of the Wall" pack will be available at Adidas Originals stores on November 8, 2014.

This past July, somewhere in the U.S, the Adidas Advanced Category Footwear Designer Robbie Fuller and Derrick Rose unveiled the Chicago Bulls superstar's new signatures shoes— the D Rose 5 Boost, the first signature model to feature Boost cushioning, an industry-first technology designed to deliver maximum energy return, responsiveness and comfort to players.
The Adidas Boost cushioning setup has been throughly tested over the past year to ensure it's deliverables. The result has been universally positive feedback, consistently preferring Boost to an EVA alternative.
The adidas D Rose 5 Boost launches Thursday, October 23 for $140.

Product quality is high on the priority list for Nike and that is why due to a small cosmetic issue with some of the LeBron 12 shoes, Nike decided to delay the initial retail launch that was scheduled for China on October 1st and the global lauch that was scheduled for October 11. At this point there is no update yet on the retail release date but with the NBA season closely approaching, and people in Cleveland once again willing to buy LeBron gear; I am sure Nike has their employees on standby 24-7 to get these to release as soon as possible.
A week ago, as I landed in Penang Island, I had hopes that I would stumble upon these KD 7 "Good Apples", but as faith would have it, they were nowhere to be found. Nor did I find any apples, lots of Durians though. LOL!
Anyways, what do an apple orchard and a basketball court have in common? According to KD, A LOT! KD views the basketball court similar to an orchard where every shot is an apple. From there, the geniuses at Nike came up with the inspiration for the Nike KD 7 "Good Apple".

This book caught my eyes while browsing around Ak.Sa.Ra Pacific Place the other day. Seems the author did a pretty thorough job in collecting all the information. Paid quite a bit of coins for Indonesian standards, but then again EVERYTHING in this country is starting to cost a pretty penny. If you are interested, am sure Ak.Sa.Ra still have them. If you are in the U.S or Europe or other parts of the country, am sure your Amazon.com carries it.
So how do you get a RETURN OF INVESTMENT after signing Kevin Durant to a multi year contract worth around $300,000,000? Keep giving the sneakerheads something bright for them to wear with their tight jeans and cuffed sweatpants. LOL!
All kidding aside, the NBA season is about to kick off in 2 weeks times and this is already KD's 8th or 9th colorways that released to the public already. And KD has even played a single game into the new NBA season yet. Absolutely BRILLIANT marketing by Nike!
Look for this to drop at your favorite Nike Basketball retailers on October 16, 2014 for a cool $150 or in the neighbourhood of 1.9 million Rupiah.
Honestly speaking, these don't do a damn thing for me. When these joint first drop in the mid 90's hardly anyone wanted them due to the popularity of the Reebok PUMP at that time. Now, since Reebok has fallen way off that chart of sneaker popularity, and Nike has reign supreme in almost every category, everyone and their momma now wants a piece of the PUMP wannabes. However, after saying all that, there is a little bit of me that's glad Nike decided to bring these baby for a trip down memory lane. Even better, the Nike Air-Fit PUMP technology will still be intact for this November 8th release. SO if this is something that you all are looking forward to have on your feet to ball-in or just to break necks, best get some cash ready, $200 in the U.S or around 2.5 million rupiah.
