RECAP-2011 NIKE DOERNBECHER FREESTYLE COLLECTION

The Doernbecher Freestyle project is a set of limited-edition shoes designed by kids from the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, with proceeds benefiting hospital programs and research.  This year six young artists shared their hobbies, insights and inspirations to show their stories to the world. Their creation was made available for sale on November 5, 2011 at Nike retail stores, nike.com and select stores were met with great enthusiast each year and this year was no different. There were line formed outside each of the Niketowns/Nike Stores all over the United States. Although not all the shoes were in high demand, they are all for a great great cause. So, if you weren't familiar with this project before and would like to contribute to the cause, you may visit your Niketown, or Nike stores and purchase the shoes you like or you can donate directly to the Doernbecher Foundation by going to their official site. Thank you all for supporting the future.
