By now, all NBA fans are antsy for Christmas day. The owners and players finally agreed to a 10 years Labor deal. However, there are still specifics that needs to be ironed out so for now, there is still no pro BBall yet, so Nike is still continuing to push their BASKETBALL NEVER STOPS campaign featuring Kevin Durant traveling across the country playing basketball with whomever.
Below is the official excerp from Nike Inc.
Debuting Sunday, November 27, Nike’s Basketball Never Stops campaign continues with the commercial Paint the Town, featuring Kevin Durant. Busy throughout the summer playing basketball around the US and in China, KD has been known to pick up a game with anyone at anytime. In this spot he’s seen playing with various groups including local seniors, playing one-on-one with artist and friend J. Cole, and going head to head with truckers at a nearby gas station rest stop. Paint the Town is set to the song “Good Times” by legendary vocalist Sam Cooke.
The Basketball Never Stops campaign – including Paint the Town and previously launched Spotlight and Shine commercials – celebrates basketball players at all levels and their true love of the game and desire to play the game no matter the time or place.
The full BasketballNeverStops campaign comes to life online here. This hub is the pulse of the campaign, aggregating content and enabling basketball players and fans to submit and tag content that shows how basketball never stops in their life. To participate, go to Facebook.com/nikebasketball or tag your posts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, or Instagram with #BasketballNeverStops.
The Paint the Town spot was produced by Wieden + Kennedy Portland and Park Pictures (Los Angeles / New York) and directed by Lance Acord.
