Good think Metta World Peace elbowed that Harden kid instead of KD, otherwise folks at Nike Basketball would've escalated the matter to suspension, cause like we all know, these babies can't sell itself w/o KD right? Oh wait, yeah they can. At $95 price point during what some called the WORST recession in history, the Nike Zoom KD IV has been an instant seller at Nike Basketball doors. Each time they put a new color that's bizarre or has a different twist to it, they GONE!
It helps that KD is a nice quiet kid who plays the game of basketball the right way, it also helps that Leo Chang the designer of the shoe was able to create something this awesome for the budget he was given and it's also pretty cool that they were able to tell a story behind each of these LIMITED cool offerings. But let's face it, WITHOUT any over the top media marketing, these shoes were able to reach star status because of the wild colors/theme behind them, heck most of the kids that bought these are mostly HYPEBEAST or resellers that are trying to make a quick buck flipping a $95 shoe into $250? What the hell?! Images via dunk

Air Jordan retro 12 "Playoffs" - TOMORROW!!!
Well well well...look what is coming back AGAIN from Jordan Brand. Mike's infamous Playoffs shoes that he wore to dunked on Mt. Mutombo en route to his FIFTH chip. Great shoe, awesome colorway, it is what it is, a classic Air Jordan to remember the greatness that was Michael Jordan back in 1997. But it is now 2012, so please Jordan Brand, can you start putting more attention to the NEW game shoe and stop re-re-releasing shoes of past years? I guess not since that is their cash cow. Such a pity!
Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Bubblicious’ or 'Fruitilicious' ??
Remember when Lebron James was once a beloved figure in the NBA? Straight out of high school, dubbed the CHOSEN ONE; supposed to be BETTER than Mike?! Well that was 2003, nine years later. He belong in a fraternity of the MOST HATED ball players ever. His televised "The Decision" was pretty much a big joke. Now he has to play the "Razor Ramon" aka the BAD guy in every NBA arena. Booeeedddd every time he touches the ball and yet sales of his Nike shoes has never been better thanks to the creatives at Nike. Loud colors are the new BLACK, any old and ugly @$$ shoes can be an instant hit with bright colors. I mean lets face it, this year's Nike Basketball lineup (Bron, Kobe & KDs) aren't exactly pleasing to the eyes, nor wallet (except for the KD's at $95) But the guy that create the colors probably should get a raise since the more bizarre the colors, the more people want them, while the regular team colorways usually ends up at the factory Store or Nordstrom Racks acrosss the nation. So far there has been a couple of colorways of the LeBron 9 Low, and both are still available on Nikestore.com and in 2 weeks, these Vivid Orang/Cherry "Bubblicious" colorways will hit, presumable as a quickstrike to make sure that they sell, cause we all know, anything Nike add a QS on will be an instant sellthrough. The Story Behind The Nike Roshe Run
If you know Nike, then you know that behind everything they put out has a story behind it. May it a design story, an inspiration or certain cues from their athletes. The Nike Roshe Run is no exception. The designer of the shoe was once a practitioner of Zen and the name of the shoe was derived from what you would call a Zen Master in Japanese, Roshi. But due to legal matters it had to be changed to Roshe. For the in-depth exclusive interview check out howtomakeit.com
CONVERSE ALL-STAR RASTA CAP HI- Dark Grey
Let me tell you a little something that a lot of people in North American probably don't know. Rasta culture is BIG in Japan. No other Asian country embraces the Rastafarian culture as big as in Japan. As many foreigners know, Japanese cultures are still very male dominant and are very delicate and structured. Many Asian countries are like that, but not to the extend of the Japanese. Many of the younger generations gravitates towards a more western culture and also to the Rastafarian ways to break the mold of how they were taught. The typical Japanese are known for their work ethic and attention to detail, but those following the Rasta's lifestyle tend to be more laid back and care-free.
