Let me tell you a little something that a lot of people in North American probably don't know. Rasta culture is BIG in Japan. No other Asian country embraces the Rastafarian culture as big as in Japan. As many foreigners know, Japanese cultures are still very male dominant and are very delicate and structured. Many Asian countries are like that, but not to the extend of the Japanese. Many of the younger generations gravitates towards a more western culture and also to the Rastafarian ways to break the mold of how they were taught. The typical Japanese are known for their work ethic and attention to detail, but those following the Rasta's lifestyle tend to be more laid back and care-free.
