Campbell's® X Supreme X Vans - Who wants soup?

"No soup for you, come back one year!"
Yeah, that had nothing to do with the inspiration for this collaboration, but every time someone mentioned soup, the first thing that pop to mind is the Soup Nazi, sorry Campbell's Soup.

But this is about Campbell's soup, probably the MOST recognizable brand of canned soup label all over the world. It's patented red & white labels propelled further into the national audience with Andy Warhol's various renditions of the labels throughout the 1960's and 70's.

Now, in 2012, the soup brand, Supreme & Vans has teamed up to collaborate on a few products that nclude three classic Vans styles - the Sk8-Hi, the Half Cab, and the Authentic, as well as a 5-Panel cap and a T-Shirt.

Available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on May 10th. Available now in Japan. Via Supreme.

Nike Free 5.0 V4 Deconstruct

The Nike Free 5.0 V4 was the LAST of it's kind. First introduced in 2009 to be that year's Nike Free 5.0 offering, it was then discontinued since Nike decided to re-tool their Nike Free 5.0 into the ever popular Nike Free Run+. Many of the Nike Free 5.0 fans heralded the V4 as one of the best Nike Free ever made and Nike Sporstwear took notice and included the shoe into the N7 series in 2010. Now, NSW is back again with another rendition of the Nike Free 5.0 V4, this time with LEATHER upper. Made for a more casual wear instead of a running shoe, they come in two colors, khaki and black. Both look super spiffy and coming out in the fall of 2012.

Nike Air Safari Pack 25th Anniversary

TWENTY FIVE years, can you believe it? It's been a quarter of a century since the almighty swoosh introduced their Nike Air Safari pack back in 1987. There's no official release date for the 2012 version just yet, hopefully they'll drop sometimes in the Autumn/Fall since this summer is already pretty clogged with high demand shoes.

NIKE DESIGNS BESPOKE AIR FORCE 1 FOR DIRK NOWITZKI.

In honor of Dirk Nowitzki and his extraordinary achievements Nike has created a customized Air Force 1 design for the German basketball star.

Fourteen years ago, Dirk Nowitzki had a crazy dream: play pro basketball in the US. He trained hard for it and in the end his dream came true. He was drafted by Dallas and in 2011 became the first German to win a world championship in the US.

Nike believes in crazy dreams and in honor of Dirk Nowitzki and his extraordinary achievement have created a customized Air Force 1 design for the German basketball star. Israel Matteo, designer at the NIKEiD studio of the stand-alone store “21 Mercer” in New York, has personalized for Dirk Nowitzki NIKE’s most celebrated basketball shoe inspired by details that symbolize his triumph: the colors of his team, his famed basketball signature move, the so called “fadeaway,” his shirt number and the date on which he became world champion.

And because such a special shoe does not belong in an ordinary box, the “Dreambox,” was created: made by hand with wood from a basketball court and engraved with Nike’s message to Dirk and every athlete who has a body: “All dreams are crazy until they come true. Dirk did it.”

The presentation of the Nike Bespoke iD design for Dirk Nowitzki was equally as exclusive: fans with dreams as crazy as Dirk’s were sought out via Facebook, and thousands participated. The dream that came true in the end was Alexander’s, a 19 year-old basketball fan from Frankfurt/Germany. He couldn’t wait to take his hero on, on court: “I want to play Dirk in one on one.” Alexander won and Nike sent him on his voyage to Dallas to present the inspired Air force 1 and compete one-on-one with Dirk Nowitzki.

Nike Air Foamposite One – Spike Lee ‘Knicks’

Many celebrities often like to showboat their sneakers, yes, the sneakers that are often enough GIVEN to them by shoe companies. We all know who these "celebs" are, they take their own pics and posted it up on Twitter, or they have a video camera follow them around when they go shopping at Footlocker, or they dressed like idiots in public to show off a pair of GR Jordans that soon to come out. But then, there's my main man, Spike Lee. True Knicks fan, die hard New Yorker. That's why, it is only fitting that his Mars Blackmon character and his 40 acres production company logo would be placed on a Nike Air Foamposite One in Knicks orange and blue. Many can say that they love sneakers, but only a select few are truly passionate about it, it shows!
