NIKE & OHSU DOERNBECHER unveils the 11TH FREESTYLE COLLECTION

Has it really been ELEVEN years already since Nike and The Oregon Health & Science University came together for their annual collection? Known best as the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, this partnership has been around since 2004 and it has gained popularity since day 1. Although the intention was noble, it also has brought out the ugly side of the sneaker fan based. Resellers caught wind of the popularity and limited nature of the product, and began reselling sneakers that are meant for a good cause. Am sure the occurrence will be repeated again this year being how elevated the offering now with apparel as well as the signature sneakers.

adidas Originals Consotium ZX420 “Quotool”

Try saying Herzogenaurach, five time, I bet you can’t, unless of course if you are GERMAN. But that’s where the Adidas Global Headquarter is located, and that’s where the pair of art geniuses, Peter O’Toole and QUOTE went to visit to come up the adidas Originals Consotium ZX420 “Quotool”

How did they come about to do this collaboration with adidas Originals? Well word has it that back in 2011, Peter O’Toole and QUOTE had collaborated on a poster that showcased QUOTE’s personal Adidas sneaker collection, so adidas Originals decided to get both these boys together again and commissioned a book and shoe to release in select adidas Consortium doors On Nov 15, 2014.

But if you are like me in Jakarta, your best best on obtaining these beauties are basically through connections or paying premium change on the Bay.

Christmas 2014 Nike Basketball lineup that will keep your spirit high, #TisTheSeason

The HOLY Trinity of Nike Basketball Christmas offering is back for another year with it's potent lineup of signature kicks from Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Like previous year's offerings, each signature shoes were inspired by different Christmas theme. The Nike KD 7 is based off the eggnog, a favorite holiday drinks in the U.S and other western countries, The Kobe IX is based off the Candy cane, a traditional Christmas offering for children and lastly the LeBron 12, based off ... well not really sure what these colours are supposed to symbolised but I heard through the grapevine that it's supposed to be what Christmas in Akron supposed to look like with all the colors?

Anyways, if you dig them, doesn't matter what they are supposed to represent or whatever, just buy them if you can afford them and rock the hell out of them. Merry Christmas!
